Mount Dovha is a case where you can literally escape from the resort and “go to the mountains.” The summit is located near Polianytsia and Bukovel in the Gorgany mountain range, and is approximately 1,371.3 meters high (some sources quote 1,370.8 meters).

The Dovga route is loved for two things: its accessibility and views that don’t require superhuman effort. The trail leads through the forest, and closer to the summit, open sections begin where the character of Gorgany is already evident — in places, rocky outcrops appear, and the wind becomes a true mountain breeze.
Dovga is often included in ridge walks in the Mount Sinyak area: it’s convenient to add it as a separate peak to a one-day hike or as a warm-up before more rocky routes. On hiking trails, Dovga is often included as part of routes to Mount Sinyak (starting from Bukovel or Tatariv) and walks in neighboring mountain valleys.

And another pleasant thing: Dovga is a mountain where it’s easy to find that perfect “disconnect from the city” feeling. Below, you can still feel civilization, but above, there are only ridges, air, and silence. On a clear day, sweeping panoramas of the surrounding Gorgany peaks open up, while Bukovel itself, seen below, looks like a small mountain valley.
