The Kaplyvets waterfall is located within the southeastern part of the city of Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region (the distance from our Chillax hotel is approximately 25 kilometers). This waterfall is located in a place where a small stream called Pyshny (a tributary of the Prut) crosses a rock massif. Interestingly, from the moment of its formation it had two cascades, and as a result of the June flood of 2020, another cascade was added to the waterfall. The height of the highest cascade is 4 meters.
Although the Kaplyvets waterfall is neither very tall nor a huge amount of water falling every second, it is still worth visiting here to see this extraordinary beauty and hear the unique thin melodic “voice”, thanks to which it got its name. Being near this waterfall, you will be as if in a real fairy tale!
And from here there is a magnificent view of the high-mountainous Prut river and the surrounding areas.
