Lake of Youth (Molodosti), located at the famous Bukovel ski resort, is the largest artificial lake in Ukraine. Its impressive dimensions — over 750 meters long, 140 meters wide, and around 8 meters deep — have earned it the nickname “the Carpathian Sea.” This is a place where every detail has been designed for maximum comfort and relaxation.
The water in Lake of Youth is crystal clear and transparent. In the summer, its temperature reaches a pleasant 20–23°C (68–73°F). There’s more than enough space for everyone along the well-maintained, 2-kilometer-long beach. You’ll find changing rooms, showers, and plenty of sunbeds, loungers, and umbrellas.
For those who love active water recreation, there are rental services for pedal boats and jet skis. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, you can try:

- Bike Zip (a bicycle ride along a cable high above the lake)

Right by the lake, you’ll find the VODA Club, a wellness and entertainment complex. Its main feature is an all-season pool with adjustable water temperature, equipped with hydromassage zones, geysers, and even an artificial current. The club also offers:

- and a warm-water children’s zone designed with safety in mind
To complete the experience, you’ll find the Mavka Store with branded souvenirs and licensed products, and the Mavka Cafe — perfect for a snack or a relaxing break after swimming. The entire area was built with accessibility in mind: elevators, ramps, adapted bathrooms and showers make the water park inclusive and welcoming to all.
MAVKA is considered one of the largest water parks in Ukraine. Its scale and infrastructure rival top European destinations. It’s open year-round, making it a great choice for both summer and winter vacations in the Carpathians.
It’s worth noting that Lake of Youth meets the highest safety standards: numerous security cameras are installed, certified lifeguards are always on duty, and medical centers are staffed with qualified doctors and nurses. Everything here is on par with the best international resorts.
Getting to Lake of Youth is easy — it’s located right within the Bukovel resort. The distance from our guesthouse Chillax in Yablunytsia village is just over 10 kilometers. A 10–15 minute drive — and you’re already there!
